Accurate. Ethical. Transparent.
Beveo's value depends entirely on our profiles being trustworthy. Trustworthy to customers who read them. Trustworthy to AI systems that cite them. Trustworthy to search engines that index them. This page explains exactly what we commit to and what we refuse to do.
No fake reviews. Ever.
Beveo does not generate, suggest, request, or facilitate fake reviews on any platform. We do not coach business owners to solicit positive-only reviews or to suppress or report legitimate negative reviews. Every review signal in a Beveo profile reflects what actual customers wrote on authorized platforms. This is not just an ethical position — it is foundational to the product. AI systems are increasingly good at detecting manipulated review signals. Profiles built on fake reviews erode the trust that makes Beveo profiles worth anything.
Authorized data only.
Beveo collects review and business data exclusively from platforms that the business owner has explicitly authorized via OAuth. We use official platform APIs — not scraping, not browser automation, not unauthorized data extraction. When a business owner revokes authorization, we stop collecting from that source and mark existing data as inactive. We do not retain or continue to use data from unauthorized sources.
Accurate summaries, not flattering ones.
Beveo's AI summaries are designed to accurately represent the full body of review evidence — not to make every business look better than it is. A business with consistent complaints about communication will have those complaints reflected in its summary. This accuracy is core to the product: AI search systems that cite Beveo profiles are trusting that the data is accurate. If we generate flattering but inaccurate summaries, those systems will eventually stop trusting us as a source.
Negative signals are not suppressed.
Business owners cannot remove legitimate negative signals from their Beveo profiles. If customers have consistently noted a concern in their public reviews, that concern will be reflected in the profile's sentiment taxonomy and AI summary. Business owners can respond to reviews on the source platforms, and those responses are reflected in the profile, but they cannot alter the underlying sentiment data.
Platform terms compliance.
Beveo is built to comply with the terms of service of every platform we integrate with. This means using only the permissions each platform explicitly grants for the use case we describe, honoring deletion requests, respecting rate limits, and not storing data in ways the platform prohibits. If a platform changes its terms in a way that conflicts with our integration, we pause the integration rather than continue in violation.
Deletion requests are honored.
If a review is deleted from the source platform, we mark it as deleted in our system within the next scheduled sync. We do not continue to use deleted review data to generate sentiment scores or AI summaries. Business owners can also request deletion of their entire Beveo profile and all associated data by cancelling their subscription and submitting a deletion request through the dashboard.
AI transparency.
Beveo profiles clearly identify which content was generated by AI (summaries and FAQ responses) and which data comes from connected source platforms (review counts, star ratings, review text). We do not present AI-generated content as if it were written by customers. The source and nature of every data type on a Beveo profile is documented in our methodology.
